Each 17th May is celebrated the “Dia das Letras Galegas” (day of the Galician Letters). Every year a Galician writer is remembered. This year is the turn of Manuel Maria, and we will recite a selection of his poems, together with other well know Galician authors.
But this time we are going to include visual narratives using the Library Living Lab video wall. We are going to experiment the different ways of positioning the visual information in the video wall in order to illustrate our journey to Galician poetry.
The main particularity of this recital is that we will be using the Library Living Lab’s video wall geometry in order to explore the visual power of its 6 screens. We will develop a simple power point template that simulates that each screen can be activated independently. This is not the case with video walls in general, which although being composed by different screens, they usually receive a unique video signal.
With our action we will learn to which extent we can have separated detail between the screens, and create the particular power point template for our specific video wall.
