Musical Language Learning

This activity is a 1 hour workshop focused in technological tools for learning musical language. It will consist of two parts:

  1. Presentation and Description of the Library Living Lab prototypes for musical interaction.
  2. Explanation of a set of relevant mobile apps for learning musical language.

 

In the first part we will present in detail the prototypes developed by the Computer Vision Center that are present in the Library Living Lab. These prototypes are demonstrators of the possibilities of automatic detection and real-time manipulation of sheet music.

During the second part of the workshop we will discuss in detail the possibilities of a number of musical apps for the curriculum of learning musical language.

Aprenentatge del llenguatge musical

Aquesta activitat és un taller d’1 hora es centra en les eines tecnològiques per a l’aprenentatge de llenguatge musical. Constarà de dues parts:

  1. Presentació i descripció del Library Livign Lab i els seus prototips d’interacció amb la música.
  2. Explicació d’un conjunt d’aplicacions mòbils rellevants per a l’aprenentatge de llenguatge musical.

 

A la primera part, es presenta en detall els prototips desenvolupats pel Centre de Visió per Computudaor que són presents en al Library Living Lab. Aquests prototips són demos de les possibilitats de detecció automàtica i la manipulació en temps real de les partitures.

Durant la segona part del taller discutirem en detall les possibilitats d’una sèrie d’aplicacions musicals per al pla d’estudis d’aprenentatge del llenguatge musical.
