Apps have are everywhere nowadays. Handheld devices, such as mobile phones or tablets, constitute one of the main tools that we have in our day-by-day.
Children born in the 21st century are now called “digital natives”, but there is a great concert regarding the quality of the digital teaching we are conducting.
One of the main questions is how we can use Apps for learning, in a life long learning approach. Should it be reduced to the schools? Should meeting places as libraries play a role in the digital literacy of people? What is the role of libraries in breaking the digital gap between fragile populations, such as elder people.
This opens up new questions that both educators and families are interested in exploring in the Library Living Lab.
